WorldCell Partners With TELUS
To Provide Enhanced Global Roaming

Silver Spring, MD and Vancouver, B.C., March 07, 2006 WorldCell, a leading provider of managed services for global voice and data wireless communications, and TELUS, the number one wireless carrier in North America, have concluded a joint partnership that enhances TELUS’ global roaming capabilities.

"Thanks to WorldCell’s interstandard roaming platform, we’ve greatly extended the ability of TELUS wireless customers to roam the world," said Chris Langdon, vice president of wireless solutions at TELUS. "TELUS’ more than 4.5 million wireless subscribers can make and take calls or send and receive text messages in more than 120 countries, including the international destinations most popular with Canadians – the United Kingdom, France, Hong Kong, China, Dominican Republic, Australia, Italy, Germany and Spain.”

WorldCell leverages its GSM operating license, operating platforms and global partnerships to deliver the most advanced and seamless wireless communications services available today on a global scale.
The WorldCell platform provides number mapping and accounting conversions that allow CDMA wireless network users to roam on GSM networks internationally. Billing records related to calls made on the foreign GSM system are converted by WorldCell and appear as regular calls on the customers’ monthly statements from their wireless provider. This service gives customers full access to both North America’s superior CDMA coverage and GSM’s broad worldwide coverage footprint while using their regular phone and number.

“WorldCell is proud to be providing its inter-standard roaming service to TELUS. We have worked to make their global roaming service a valuable addition to their service portfolio,” explains S. Blake Swensrud, WorldCell’s Chief Executive Officer.
