WorldCell and ANA (All Nippon Airways) Join to Equip Travelers to
Japan and Asia With Mobile Phones

SILVER SPRING, MD --September 09, 2003 --
ANA (All Nippon Airways) passengers to Japan and cities throughout Asia can now rent mobile phones from WorldCell for use in countries where wireless networks are incompatible with their U.S. handsets.

The partnership of ANA, the eighth largest airline in the world, and WorldCell, a leading supplier of global mobile phones and satellite phones, offers passengers discounts on world phone rentals, and the ability to maintain mobile communications links from locations served by ANA, including 34 destinations in Japan and 13 cities in six countries in Asia.

“We are very pleased to offer our global communications services to ANA passengers,” said Greg Buckman, VP of Sales and Marketing for WorldCell, Inc.  “No matter where they fly on ANA, travelers increasingly want reliable mobile phone service, as they are accustomed to at home.  But, because of incompatible wireless technologies used in countries throughout the world, unless you have a world phone from WorldCell pre-programmed to suit your itinerary, you may not be able to maintain that vital mobile link to home, business, and emergency services.  WorldCell’s partnership with ANA makes it possible for ANA passengers to stay mobile and in-touch wherever they travel in Asia and beyond.”

ANA flights take travelers to Japan, China, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Taiwan, where they may encounter varying wireless technology standards, from CDMA to GSM, and multiple wireless carriers.  WorldCell’s global mobile phones and satellite phones function in over 220 countries and territories worldwide.

“We are working with WorldCell because they offer the service and reliability our passengers have come to expect from ANA, both on the ground and in the air,” said Tetsuo Fukuda, ANA Director of Marketing & Sales The Americas.

Once an ANA passenger supplies WorldCell with destination information and travel dates by phone or through the site http://fly-ana.worldcell.com, WorldCell overnights the passenger an international mobile phone pre-programmed to work in the passenger’s travel destinations.   In addition, as part of the WorldCell package, ANA passengers receive a fully charged battery, a global charger, and an adapter for each travel destination, simplified billing, and 24-7 expert, English-speaking customer service 365 days of the year.

ANA passengers are eligible for a free two-week WorldCell cellular handset rental.  As an ANA partner, WorldCell will be able to inform passengers about its services through ANA’s website (http://www.fly-ana.com) and ANA’s newsletters.
